Gravity Required - Method 1 To effectively transfer fluids using the siphon pump, follow these steps:

1. Ensure that the source fluid is positioned at least 11 inches higher than the target container. The greater the height difference, the better the effect.

2. Attach metal clips to one end of each hose, then connect the hoses to both ends of the pump bulb.

3. Secure the hose and pump bulb junction with clips to prevent leakage.

4. Use a hose retainer to keep the hose in place in the container and prevent it from slipping out.

5. Insert the input hose into the source fluid, making sure the black arrow on the pump bulb points towards the exit flow direction. Squeeze the pump bulb 3 to 4 times.

6. Once the liquid reaches the pump bulb, place the outlet hose into the target container. The liquid will flow naturally.

7. If the fluid level in the source container becomes too low, continue squeezing the pump bulb by hand to keep the fluid flowing.

No Gravity Required - Method 2 If there is no height difference between the source and target containers, follow these steps:

1. Attach a clip to one end of each hose, then connect the hoses to both ends of the pump bulb.

2. Secure the junction of the hose and pump bulb with a clip to prevent leakage.

3. Use a hose retainer to keep the hose in place in the container.

4. Insert the input hose into the source fluid, ensuring that the black arrow on the pump bulb points in the direction of flow. Squeeze the pump bulb 3 to 4 times.

5. Once the liquid reaches the pump bulb, place the outlet hose into the target container. Continuously squeeze the pump bulb by hand to control the flow rate until the transfer is complete.

Self-check Points If the siphon pump is not working properly, check these points:

• The source container is higher than the target container in the "Gravity Required" method.
• Both containers are not sealed.
• The indicator arrow on the pump bulb points towards the target container.
• The hoses are not knotted or twisted.
• Remove any trapped gas from the hoses before use.
• Keep the ends of the hoses inside the containers during operation.
