Operation Steps for Hinge Slot

To properly operate the hinge slot, follow these steps:

1. Place the hinge on the board and mark its position.
2. Secure the board with a jig and tighten the screws.
3. Align the mark with the blade position, adjust the positioning plates, and position one side of the edge with the blade partly beyond.
4. Leave space at the corner of the edge when trimming to prevent chipping.
5. Trim the R corner to a right angle using a chisel.
6. Insert the hinge into the slot to complete the operation.

Operation Steps for Lock Body Guide Plate Slot

For the lock body guide plate slot operation, adhere to these steps:

1. Insert the lock body into the deep groove and mark its position.
2. Clamp the board with a jig and tighten the screws.
3. Align the mark with the blade position, adjust the positioning plates, and trim the shallow slot using a router.
4. Trim the R corner to a right angle with a chisel.
5. Place the lock body guide plate into the slot to complete the operation.
